The Authors’ Club supports the best in contemporary writing though its annual literary awards:

• The Best First Novel Award, for the most promising debut novel first published in Britain during the previous year.
• The Stanford Dolman Award, in partnership with Stanfords, for the most outstanding work of literary travel writing of the past year.

Each award is marked by a convivial reception to which all club members are invited.
