We are delighted that we will once again be able to meet in person when the winner of the Authors’ Club Best First Novel Award is announced, and the prize presented, by this year’s guest adjudicator, the novelist Michèle Roberts, at a dinner at the National Liberal Club.
Inaugurated in 1954, the Best First Novel Award is now in its 67th year, making it the longest-running UK prize for debut fiction.
